To assist Parts Supervisor in ensuring that all parts are received, labeled and put into bins in a timely manner. Ensure integrity of inventory.

DUTIES

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To label, bag and stock parts into bins.

To create and receive purchase orders in OMD.

Pull parts orders and put into technicians mail boxes or ship to appropriate locations.

Assist in warehouse inventory and technicians' car stock inventory, run inventory and parts usage reports.

Assist technicians in obtaining part numbers and/or availability of specific parts.

Use ADS to move and page technician service calls.

Inform supervisor of low or out of stock parts.

Assist customers with part inquiries or refer to supervisor.

Hand out parts requested by technicians at parts counter.

Use internet to place stock and overnight orders with vendors.

Contact vendors for availability of parts, pricing, status of backorders and any cancellations or changes.

Empty the trash.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS)

Work requires a high school level of knowledge in order to express thoughts clearly, perform calculations, keep records and deal effectively with other people.

Twelve months of work experience is desired.

Computer experience in Microsoft Word/Excel desired.

Some analytical ability required in order to gather and interpret data in situations where the problems are not difficult or complex.

Strong multitasking ability.
